Doctoral and master’s students should take at least 6 hours of “academic ethics” courses.

According to NCKU’s regulations, all master’s and doctoral students admitted in or after the 2022 academic year are required to complete at least 6 hours of Academic Ethics education.
Pursuant to the resolution of the ICID Faculty Affairs Meeting, effective from the 2026 academic year, students applying for the Thesis Proposal Examination must submit a Certificate of Academic Ethics Education Hours. Only Academic Ethics courses completed after enrollment at NCKU are eligible for recognition. Certificates or course hours obtained before enrollment will not be accepted.
